This is a really persona bugbear but every time I go to fill out forms in Ireland or do anything in the following sectors; legal, bank or public service the forms insist that I have a maiden name that only give me options of MRS or MISS – I hate both terms, they are foreign to me. I’d like to use neither. My solicitor is fed up listening to me giving out about it. I want to fill out forms with personal data that is relevant to me, my generation not my grandmothers or mothers.
I’d really like to map new re-imagined values for Ireland 2120…
