So later today I exhibit art for the first time in 7 years. What? how did that happen, so may questions balancing from why now, why have I waited so long to… being thankful for the mighty women in Ballygarrett’s Tidy Towns for inviting me to participate in the Wexford Walking Festival Fringe event that happily coincides with culture night 2022!
So I’m not exhibiting new or recent work. It’s not framed or ready for an outing yet – my photography, digital prints & mixed media work on biodiversity, nature & plastic waste. Needs editing, printing, framing – curating. My practice is now more discursive. Making spaces for challenging conversations.
But in about 18 hours time at 8pm Irish pub time the doors of our local pub in the village will be open to welcome people into view local artist works.
I’ve added a reel to my instagram story watch it here it gives you a view of the work as you walk into the back of the Schooner.
