Adrienne Maree Brown my recommended discover her work if you don’t know here already – I discovered her last early 2020 when I was diversifying my social media channels as part of my #Blacklivesmatter work – ensuring I was paying attention more broadly – who I was following, listening and learning from. She was also listed in the resources for the Tools For the Regenerative Renaissance Course (deadline for the second cohort is next week, 12 May). I share her quote about only being able to ‘travel at the speed of trust’ often.

Climate scientist Corinne Le Quéré Quebec-born scientist is renowned for probing how carbon cycles through the atmosphere and oceans, placing her high on the Reuters Hot List. Of the top 1,000 researchers, fewer than one in seven are women.

Why don’t more people know about Project Drawdown? Since the 2017 publication of the New York Times bestseller, Drawdown, the organization has emerged as a leading resource for information and insight about climate solutions. Ok so I can’t go any further without mentioning #ENViTE Edible Network villages and towns in Eire – is up and running by Wexford Environmental Network. This is a beautiful concept where any urban area which is either abandoned or “otherwise planted” will be gradually re-planted with food or with flowers for pollinators.
ENViTE encourages a chemical free approach to growing and encourages communities to (literally!) grow together and help biodiversity along the way.

I continue my journey to understand different organisational models for business and community, potentially for a hybrid model within a circular economy as part of our COVID and Climate pivot.
