So much to catch up on with my writing every time I begin a blog post, I register that there is a precursor blog I need to write first. But time to get on with things, work is busier but enjoying design challenges, sustainability strategy work and everything doughnuts!
A BDT Consultancy Ltd website is in development along with a newsletter and some active learning opportunities, stay tuned!
So this week kicks off some specific doughnut events of note:

IDEN, Irish Doughnut Economics Network has our next #VirtualCuppa on Tuesday 11 May 2021 all are welcome. Have you joined DEAL – the Doughnut Economics Action Lab?
You can find out more about us on the wiki we also have a SLACK channel, request an invite!
On the 11th of May Dublin Food Co-Op has invited me to host and facilitate Dr. Carol Power (Centre for Co-operative Studies, UCC) on Doughnut Economics and Co-operatives. A free event register here. Really looking forward to discussing co-ops with Dr. Power and open the conversation out into contemporary Ireland. After all we have a distinct tradition of Metheail and co-ops may offer us alternatives to decentralised communities and businesses as we move to the circular economy and find pathways to a just transition.
Not sure if you have heard yet, but Kate Raworth has invited me to keynote with her at Irish Environmental Research Colloquium 2021 on the 16th of June. It will be an open event and I think it will really bring momentum and build on the conversations happening all around the country in Ireland bring them into action. In case you don’t know who Kate is she is the author of Doughnut Economics and the Co-founder of the Doughtnut Economics Action Lab.
I keep an evolving IDEN map check out our national and international reach!

As you can imagine the DEAL community is a vibrant sharing network of people all across the world finding and sharing their action specific to place and thinking like a 21st Century Economist. Join us!
