How do we make this regenerative?

The celebration for Earth day 2021 runs 20 – 22 April and it’s going to be a busy few days. Along with ongoing project and client work, there are so many extra fun things going on but this is what I’ll be up to, I hope you’ll join me and bring a friend.

A creative visualisation offering a way to step into imagining a sustainable world, apt for Earth day and the UN day of Creativity and Innovation. Tickets by donation find them here Billetto.

Imagining a sustainable world part of my 6 impossible things series – midday GMT to 13:00

The next event is with a strategic client that I’ve worked with on and off for at least 15 years, I am delighted to be delivering a webinar titled Sustainability and the rise of the Conscious Consumer for the Design and Craft Council of Ireland at 3pm GMT.

Following that, I’m bringing to life a CLIMATE CATALYST SALON something I think has been missing – a space where people meet to find synergies, connect and accelerate regenerative practices for climate, sustainability, circular economy, doughnut economics, UN SDGs for businesses, startups and communities.

I’m delighted to be partnering with Deirdre Lane, a Covid Ally who has been generous with introductions and knowledge in the environmental and sustainability sector.
We’ve been discussing it on and off for a few months and Earth day just seemed the right day to do it.
I’ve described it as an open innovation experiment and it is. A rapid prototype to see how it might work.

Our aim is to catalyse connections, bring different sectors together, create a mindmesh where we can connect, share our journeys, find business, work, a job, an internship, a startup idea, an innovation-led recovery, a living with COVID climate pivot, regenerative models to work rather than extractive. There are already some people going to the event that I’m excited to meet, having been introduced or connected with them via social media. The platform we are using is super for that human connection in conversations.

Really looking forward to it, I hope you will join me.
